Get to know me
I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Eugene Lang College (The New School), and a Master's degree in Social Work from Fordham University, with a concentration in Clinical Social Work.
It is essential, in my opinion, to create a space for my clients that is safe and judgement free. Social justice, cultural competency, and examining privelage are important to me, both in my therapy practice and in my personal life.
I tailor my sessions to each individual client because we each need different things from therapy. Of the different modalities that I use, my specialty is in weaving evidence based therapy practices with the more esoteric yoga techniques. Breath work, as well as the use of metaphor, magic, imagination, and personal measure, as taught to me by my mentor, Nevine Michaan (founder of Katonah Yoga), often make their way into our sessions.
